About Laughter

Simulated stimulating laughter / laughter yoga consists of
a group of exercises that instigate laughter without a cause,
which very easily turns into genuine laughter.
In India in 1995 a doctor, Madan Kataria started working
with laughter exercises and it has spread to laughter clubs all over the world.

Laughter is good for:

  • Your health: It creates endorfins – the body’s own painkiller
    – and white blood cells, strengthening your immunity
  • Works against stress
  • Physical fitness: Laughing for 10 minutes is equal to running for
    30 minutes. It increases your lung capacity.
  • Love: It opens your heart and enables you to trust to meet
    others as you are.
  • Training: It is good training for the voice and voice functions.
  • It breaks down social barriers as well as personal limited concepts or ideas
  • It’s fun – and much more..!
