Background information on Hanne Siboni

Hanne Siboni, born and grown up in Copenhagen.

The italian singingmaestro Guiseppe Siboni is her great great great grandfather, who in 1817 came to Danmark after a European carriere as a tenor, settled down in Copenhagen and founded the first singingschool for the italian opera, provided italian opera-repertoire for the Royal Theatre, and received H. C. Andersen at his firsti arrival in Copenhagen. He is now lying at the cemetary Assistens Kirkegård like H. C. Andersen.
